We've begun preparations for DEAR 2011 to be held province-wide on Monday, October 24th. I have contacted the Minister of Education's office to touch base.
With a fall election looming, his Honourable's office was unable to commit to participation at this point in time. But, the Ministry will again publicly recognize and support DEAR and school libraries around the province with an official press release.
We will endeavour to get students into the Legislature to visit and read with MLAs in support of DEAR. Any suggestions or recommendations are readily welcome!
